Two young Danish designers will take nordic welfare design to Shanghai. Showing design that improves life.

Sylvia Holthen and Rune Rex - graduated from The Danish Design School - will show two new projects than can affect the public health, safety and welfare. The designers will visit Shanghai as part of the The Creative North event, where innovators will show innovative and creative examples of the design products and services and the processes which plays a significant role in the Nordic welfare system. 

About The Creative North
The Creative North exhibition is created by Kreanord and The Nordic Council of Ministers.

The foundation of the exhibition is that every citizen despite economical possibilities, age, health, level of function etc. are secured the possibility to live a good and worthy life because of these designs. The categories are service design, welfare technology and handicap aids increasing the level of functionality.The innovative process in the development of these designs will be the center and the primary focus for the exhibition.

October 1st – 15th 2010. Official reception October 11th.
Venue: Nordic Lighthouse No. 32, Qinghuangdao Road (Yangshupu Road), Yangpu district, Shanghai.
