Exhibition: Tangible User Interface

Tangible User Interface

Friday, February 26, 4 - 7 pm

Working from home presents a mixed bag of issues and opportunities. People often have to use the same tools and process of everyday living for professional use and the other way around too. Often its peppered with distractions and compromised situations. In such scenarios, products are often designed solely for office or home use. Creating an elegant transition between personal and professional needs is an emerging need in many homes. Products need to be designed better for mixed realities, permeability and quick transition between situations.

Students from the Interaction Design Programme are in the midst of a 4- week tangible user interface workshop where they have been designing and building working prototypes to answer this brief.

We invite you to come and experience the projects for yourselves. There will be small reception so feel free to pass this on to others you feel this might be of interest to.
