Awards for new Danish & Swedish furniture. Every year Sydform arranges a furniture competition for designers in the Oresund region – Copenhagen and Malmö. This year more than 120 projects were submitted for the competition, and approx. 20 of them were selected to participate on a traveling exhibition which starts in Malmö Form/Design center and ends at Copenhagen Design Fair in September.
At the vernissage in Malmö on April 7, two stipends were given, one of then to Danish design student Nicholas Steenfatt from Danish Design School for the chair “Moss Chair” and Knitted lamps “Befrysning”.

Other winners and prizes
The ”Öresundskomiteéns stipendium” went to Clara Sjödin for her lamp "Shoe”.
Honorable mention went to Henrik Malm for ”Molnet” and Annika Göransson from The Danish Design School for ”Mosaiik lounge chair”.
Sydform is arranged by Konst/Design, Örestad in cooperation with Form/Design Centre.
