New Danish design stamps - exhibition presents the contributions to Post Danmark's student competition 'Denmark 40 years in the EU'.
In 2011, the School of Design in cooperation with Post Danmark and the School of Architecture conducted a study programme focusing on the design of a new postal stamp around the topic "Denmark 40 years in the EU". The winning project will be issued by Post Danmark in spring 2013.
The competition focused on classical disciplines in graphic design such as typography, visual communication and the expression of an identity through imagery. In addition to creating the stamp itself, contributors were asked to design a first day stamp and envelope as well as one stationary product following the design of the postal stamp. Post Danmark joined the project with graphic designers and professional support during the competition
