Dave Malouf of the Savannah College of Art and Design and Bill DeRouchey of Ziba Design will lead a discussion around the State of IxD. Both will first give a short presentation and then engage the attendees in a free-flowing discussion. Dave will talk about the Foundations of Interaction Design and Bill will talk about Learning Interaction Design from Everyday Objects - offering two approaches to learning interaction design, from history and from observation.

The Interaction Design Pilot Year is realised in cooperation between CIID and The Danish Design School. The goal is that students, teachers and employees cooperate on the creation of a new type of eduction in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment. The pilot year is expected to show new interesting and ambitious projects and to create a new centre for design, technology and innovation.
