François Jégou designs scenarios to challenge everyday living practices and societal trends. He will share some of his recent researches and projects for the Cité du Design and the 27th Region in France, the Belgian Science Policy, European Commission research projects and United Nation Environment Programme.
He will discuss his views on how design can support a democratic deliberative process on nanotechnologies or foster competitiveness in the fabric SME’s in the European furniture sector or enable social spontaneous initiatives to inspire and disseminate new and more sustainable ways of living. The talk will be also an occasion to present the book Collaborative services, Social innovation and Design for Sustainability.
