The Danish Design School is taking The Climate Dress to Shanghai

Export Promotion Denmark and The Royal Danish Consulate General in Shanghai are
inviting The Danish Design School and Diffus to participate in the Nordic Fashion Week
and present the “Climate dress”.

The Nordic Fashion Week: August 3rd – 6th 2010.

The Nordic Fashion Week has the purpose of expanding the knowledge of Nordic Design brands & designers in China. The Fashion week will be held at the Nordic Lighthouse during the official EXPO. It will include some of the most famous chorographers, models, makeup artists, and stylists in China. Here Michel Guglielmi, Lecturer at The Danish Design School, will present the dress, which has been nominated for best "wearable technology concept 2009".

The “Climate Dress”

The “Climate Dress” is the result of a fruitful collaboration between students and staff at The Danish Design School, Diffus-Design, research company “Alexandra Institute” and embroidery manufacturer Forster-Rohner (Switzerland).

The “Climate dress” has received international media attention: It was nominated as winner for the TOP 7 wearable technology concept and is listed among the top 15 High tech couture project for 2009.

The "Climate dress" will also be present in Paris on the catwalk during the Ethical Fashion Show, from the 25 to the 28 september. There, we will participate at a round table on “intelligent fabrics”.
