The Danish Design School is an educational institution under the auspices of the Danish Ministry of Culture. The School's mission is to ensure the international position of Danish design, further the competitive ability of Danish business, and contribute to the establishment of international standards for design education and design research.

The Danish Design School is offering a wide series of study programmes, covering a lot of different approaches to design. Also with an international perspective.

The Danish Design School receives more than 50 exchange and visiting students every year and more than 90 foreign citizens are enrolled as normal full-time students at the School. Most of them are from Iceland, Norway and Sweden.

The Danish Design School has exchange agreements with a series of European and Nordic Schools. We also have bilateral agreements with schools around the world. From USA, Japan to Australia. In total, the school has some 55 exchange agreements with other educational institutions. In this way we offer not only an international perspective for students but also staff mobility.
