Erasmus
Erasmus is a part of the Socrates programme, which is aimed at exchange between institutions of higher education. The programme was adopted by the European Community in June 1987.
Through Erasmus, DKDS has agreements with some 35 European educational institutions.
In connection with an Erasmus exchange, a scholarship is given which is intended to cover mobility costs. These might be e.g. travel expenses, language courses, and higher costs of living. The scholarship is of about DKK 1,000 per month. Applications for the scholarship are made through the student's own school.
Nordplus
Nordplus is a Nordic programme under the auspices of the Nordic Council of Ministers. The programme is addressed at higher educational programmes.
Through Nordplus, DKDS has agreements with some 15 Nordic schools.
In connection with Nordplus exchange, a scholarship is given which is intended to cover mobility costs. Additionally, a contribution is made towards the covering of transport expenses to and from the host school. The travel expense contribution depends on the destination. The scholarship is of about DKK 1,000 per month. Applications for the scholarship are made through the student's own school.
