The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - The School of Design is located at Holmen in the centre of Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. We moved here in 2011 and offer a completely new setting for our education. In the centre of a unique, creative and vibrant study environment.

With a beautiful location next to The Copenhagen Harbour, The Opera House and the beautiful surroundings at Holmen. The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - The School of Design provides students and staff with optimal learning and working conditions. Students have access to a wide range of social activities, associations and exhibitions which creates a vibrant and international study environment on campus.

Admission

The BA-programme is taught in Danish. We accept up to 105 students into the BA-programme annually. You can find information on how to apply to the BA-programme on www.dkds.dk/Uddannelsen/Optagelse

The MA-programme is taught in Danish and English. Students who have completed the BA-programme at The School of Design can continue to the two-year MA-programme without reapplying.
