The Co-Design cluster is based on the notion of design as a social process and the idea that the best and most innovative results can be achieved by actively involving the potential users and other stakeholders in the design process.
The overall goals for the researchers in this cluster are to generate knowledge and to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the field by developing design approaches, methods and tools. A key component is an experimental approach to research, which, for example, explores new possibilities by letting participants ‘rehearse the future’.
