Exam Project
The Stand

The Stand is a piece of furniture, which creates a space for work or rest - alone or with others. The object meets the body’s need for suitable circumstances, offering a multiple choice of heights.
It provides a space in the office generating more movement and the possibility of standing up, away from your desk.
The Stand also provides a space in more busy environments, such as schools, libraries, airports, shopping centres, post offices, etc. where one will use it according to the circumstances.
The prototype is made of Polyethylene plastic and treated Birch Plywood. The electric sockets, spotlights and top wire are prefabricated products.
